AGC Acquisition LLC and Gar Kenyon Aerospace and Defense are divisions of the LOAR Group co-located in Meriden, Connecticut. We offer a wide range of benefits including Health Care, Dental Care, Vision Care, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the site(s) Quality Management System (QMS) in conjunction with overseeing all aspects of Quality Engineering and Product Inspection for the organization. The role is a Direct Report to the President of AGC/Gar Kenyon and works in a matrixed organization in support of the companies' overall goals.Responsibilities
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a diverse product organization.
  • Leads the site's internal and external audit activities to ensure certifications and customer/supplier criteria are satisfied.
  • Serves as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Coordinate periodic Management Reviews and monthly metrics for the organization.QualificationsThis position requires a four-year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Business preferred) or a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing organization (Management of an Aerospace QMS is desired but not required).Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
