As the Director, Sales Development (SDR), you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of Cordance. In this role, you will oversee two dedicated SDR Managers, each responsible for a subset of the SDR team. Together, you and the SDR Managers will collaborate to ensure the success of our SDR program, driving pipeline growth and revenue generation through strategic leadership, mentorship, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing SDR teams, a deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies, and excellent leadership and cross-collaboration skills.

This is a fully remote role; all candidates must be based in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the SDR organization, overseeing the performance and development of two dedicated SDR Managers who are responsible for managing subsets of the SDR team.
  • Mentor and coach SDR Managers, providing guidance on leadership best practices, performance management, and professional development.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to optimize the SDR function, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to align SDR efforts with overall business objectives and go-to-market strategies to maximize pipeline generation and conversion rates.
  • Leverage data and analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve SDR performance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute ongoing training programs to enhance SDR team skills and product knowledge while establishing clear performance expectations and KPIs aligned with sales goals.
  • Implement robust performance management processes, including regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and recognition programs, to drive accountability and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Partner with senior leadership and executives to provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth and success.
  • Requirements

    Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, SDR/BDR functions, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in B2B SaaS or technology companies.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership or management role, with demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing and mentoring other managers, with a strong ability to provide strategic direction, guidance, and support.
  • Deep understanding of sales development processes, lead generation strategies, and sales methodologies, with a proven ability to drive results through effective leadership and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives, drive change, and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
