DIRECTOR/STEWARDSHIP & DONOR RELATIONS - Central Michigan University : Job Details

This position reports to the Deputy Chief of Advancement & Campaign Strategies and is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and accountability of a comprehensive stewardship and donor relations plan for philanthropic donors to CMU. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree. Five years of professional experience. Proven ability to be self-motivated and goal oriented. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of volunteers, donors, high level executives and CMU senior leadership. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated success in relationship building and working with volunteers and/or donors. Ability to positively represent the university to donors, prospects, and alumni. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel occasionally. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
