We are looking for a Director, Supply Chain, based in Orangeburg, NY. The role: You will lead teams that study demand trends and develop strategic changes to supply as well as inventory storage while advancing inventory management solutions to Clarins business processes which improve inventory productivity, product availability and cost productivity. You will also lead USA Sales and Operations Planning and engage in such tasks as analyzing local and global supply chain processes and procedures, developing process enhancement strategies, investigating shortfalls and issues, and researching complaints in current business processes.What you'll do: In an environment where product innovation, responsible beauty, and customer proximity are high priorities, Clarins focuses its efforts on its digital growth and on the transformation of its back-office. This position will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategy by leading demand & supply planning, inventory management, and process improvement.
  • Lead & organize Monthly End of Year Landing & Monthly Inventory Review, while directing activities cross-functionally to ensure Budgeted Dollars & Demand Plan Units. Responsible for ensuring demand validation is reconciled monthly, quarterly & annually.
  • Communicate current and future anticipated warehouse in stock issues and conduct root cause analysis and process improvement to proactively mitigate stock outs, while ensuring all customer needs and lead times are calculated into supply planning requirements.
  • Management of days of supply goals at category level and conduct effective forecasting of monthly & end of year inventory levels. Manage overstock mitigation strategies cross-functionally and maintain active awareness of Top 50 item availability reporting and informing leaders, as necessary.
  • Provide strategy for warehouse cycle count, store cycle count, and physical inventory while acting as project manager for annual physical inventory planning, timeline, resources, and execution. Ensure proper Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for USA Supply Chain and Inventory Operations and provide thought leadership in improving processes and simplification.
  • Drive adherence to USA & Global SOPs & arrange training for teams, and provide Global Operations feedback on systems, processes and procedures to improve overall business outcomes.

You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or Supply Chain (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years prior supply chain experience (i.e., demand/supply planning, customer service, warehouse) preferably in the beauty industry.
  • Experience working with a 3PL preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings to drive actions and accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely to peers and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as overcome technical issues and system challenges.
  • Experience with demand planning & forecasting systems, INFOR DMP preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, INFOR M3 preferred.
  • Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.
  • Must read, write, and understand English.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000Benefits:
