Position Highlights This role is pivotal to the daily success of the Arizona Ticket Office. This position oversees ticket operations for mens basketball plus one other sport (to be determined). Responsibilities encompass all aspects of ticketing for their assigned sports, from start to finish, as well as leading the box office on event days. The position reports to the Assistant AD, Ticket Operations and Customer Service and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, Conference, and NCAA. Duties & Responsibilities Manages ticket operations for assigned sports including programming, renewals, invoicing, seat relocations, digital ticketing management, and postseason processes Primary ticket operations sport lead for Mens Basketball and one other assigned sport (to be determined) Secondary ticket operations sport lead for Football, working closely with Assistant AD on all aspects of ticketing for football game days Assists with managing daily operations of the ticket office Assist with hiring, training, and supervising student workers in-office and at events Collaborate with multiple departments including Development, Ticket Sales, and Marketing on ticket sales plans, strategy, and timelines for assigned sports Assist the ticketing staff by providing updated sales materials and training when necessary to provide a high level of service for customers Ability to problem solve and make decisions Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude Expected to build relationships with coaches, interdepartmental staff, and campus partners, along with keeping customer service as a top priority Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to initiate, lead, and support value-added projects Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities, and successfully manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously Additional duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills Proficient in MS Office suite Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree Five years of experience within collegiate or professional ticket operations with Paciolan Ticketing system or a comparable ticketing system Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and travel as needed Preferred Qualifications Masters degree Demonstrated extensive knowledge of the Paciolan Ticketing System Direct experience within Division 1 collegiate athletic ticket operations FLSA Exempt Full Time/Part Time Full Time Number of Hours Worked per Week 40 nights and weekends Job FTE 1.00 Work Calendar Fiscal Job Category Athletics Benefits Eligible Yes - Full Benefits Rate of Pay $47,356 - $59,195 Compensation Type salary at 1.0 full-time equivalency (FTE) Grade 6 Grade Range Minimum $47356 Grade Range Midpoint $59195 Grade Range Maximum $71034 Career Stream and Level PC3 Job Family Events Mgmt, Athletics Job Function Athletics Type of criminal background check required: Name-based criminal background check (non-security sensitive) Number of Vacancies 1 Target Hire Date 7/16/2024 Contact Information for Candidates Kelsey Crawford crawfordkarizona.edu Open Date 7/9/2024 Open Until Filled Yes Documents Needed to Apply Resume, Cover Letter, and One Additional Document Special Instructions to Applicant Application: The online application should be completed in its entirety.
