Maintains working knowledge of advanced Disaster Recovery tactics, techniques and procedures. Develops and implements new techniques to improve recoverability and resiliency as applications move to public/private cloudPerforms ongoing technical analyses of DR architecture to determine the readiness to meet the Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) as defined by the Business Impact Analysis; leads efforts to reach desired Disaster Recovery maturityOversees the development and execution of recovery tests, scenarios and exercises, including planning, facilitation, and reporting; Makes recommendations for improvements, prioritizes these opportunities, reports risks to management, and manages remediation efforts to completionConducts disaster recovery training/Table Tops and provides instructional and informational materials on how associates are expected to respond during an emergencyDevelops, administers, and monitors program budgetOversees and partners with the Business Continuity team to re-validating RTO/RPOs on a quarterly basis to help ensure that DR capabilities are capable of achieving RTOs/RPOsMaintains a library of recovery support documentation, emergency response documentation, and exercise (testing) documentationMonitors the effectiveness of procedures during evacuation drills and revises the procedures as necessaryPartners with the Business Continuity department to ensure that as new equipment, facilities, services, and systems are installed, the disaster recovery architecture is sufficient to accommodate RTOs/RPOs definedEstablish resources and manages relationships with critical vendors/resources for off-site recovery and other resources required for successful resumption of business operations in the event of a disasterParticipates in outside DR/contingency planning professional organizations and local/regional emergency response groups to stay up to date on best practices and trendsProvides 24/7/365 on-call support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of the Disaster Recovery plansWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. - Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field- 2 years of Disaster Recovery experience - Experience developing a clear understanding of the companys key functional processes and resourcing including data platforms, applications, and operations systems both on prem and on the cloud- Experience building programs and working with technical tools (Continuity Logic, BC in the Cloud)- Experience working with Business Contuinity Process team- Personable, self-motivated, comfortable being persistent with cross-functional groups
