ABOUT THE POSITION: Allora is looking for a Dishwasher who will hold the responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for our restaurant. A dishwasher must keep the dish room and dish machine in clean, working order. This person must be reliable and enjoy working in the kitchen. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
• Collect and transport soiled dishes from the first floor dish room and line to downstairs dish area.
• Clean and dry dishes, cooking instruments, glassware, and flatware.
• Put dishes away neatly, in appropriate locations.
• Follow instruction/ direction from management.
• Maintain up and downstairs kitchen work areas (ex. cleaning hoods, dusting, maintaining mop closets, deliming dish machine).
• Follow and perform multiple cleaning schedules (ex: sweep and mop stairs and prep kitchen floor, take trash out, and cleaning staff bathroom).
• Ensure that all dish cleaning equipment is maintained and supplies are stocked properly.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation duties when needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Dishwasher or restaurant experience a plus.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Hardworking, passionate, and can easily take direction.
• Willingness and drive to learn and grow.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
