Position Summary We are looking for a dishwasher/stocker to help operate the kitchen. You will perform routine kitchen tasks such as washing dishes, restocking items, unloading delivery trucks, helping prepare cook stations, cleaning & sanitizing. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team. Responsibilities
- Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps dish area organized and free of clutter.
- Stock micro-market
- Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
- Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift.
- Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
- Assists in storing food deliveries.
- Monitors trash cans throughout shift, making sure to removes full trashcans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift.
- Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and the organization of storage shelves.
- Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
- Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise.
- Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School degree preferred, but not required PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic computer skill to clock in & out EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 2 years working in kitchen environment SKILLS & ABILITIES:

PHYSCIAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to convey details or directions with volume and clarity
- Must be able to hear and receive normal conversations and information
- Must have average visual abilities necessary to prepare food, read and follow menu directions, etc and operate kitchen equipment.
- Must have ability to stand a period of at least 3 to 4 hours at a time.
- Must have ability to lift at least 30 to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5,000 to 6,000 words; to read at a slow rate, able to write basic sentences and ability to communicate in standard sentences with good vocabulary.
