Dishwasher - Big Mike's BBQ Smokehouse Restaurants : Job Details

We're searching for hardworking individuals who are eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our busy kitchen as our next dishwasher. We require a dependable person who can jump in and assist with a range of kitchen activities. You will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine in addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers. Responsibilities: • Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine • Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine • Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols • After unloading the dishwasher, return utensils and plates to their proper locations • Mop and clean kitchen floors daily to keep the workplace neat and sanitary Qualifications: • Excellent stamina and physical health • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification Compensation: $10.50 - $11.50 hourly
