Description:
Essential Functions:
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes, pans, and utensils into the dish machine, or wash by hand
- Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage area
- Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils
- Ensures work areas remain safe and clean
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen
- Empty trash containers, as needed
- May assist in cleaning and preparing various food for cooking/serving, as directed
- May assist in housekeeping duties to maintain order and sanitary conditions in the kitchen
Requirements:
Expectation of Service: This is a non-exempt 40 hour per week position. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking or standing
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
- Must frequently immerse hands in water
- Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment
