DescriptionSUMMARY:This position maintains cleanliness and orderly fashion in the dish and kitchen areas. Knowledge in the proper use of the dishwashing machine, chemicals, and cleaning agents to manufacturers guidelines. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scrapes foods from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Washes pots, pans and trays, and miscellaneous equipment in three compartments sink ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation.
- Organizes all plate ware, glassware, silverware, and all other wares on proper storage shelving, or storage areas.
- Cleans dishwashing machine including traps, screens and de-limes machine using proper chemicals while wearing protective gear.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, cutting boards, and kitchen equipment.
- Uses protective gear while performing duties. i.e., back braces, gloves, goggles, aprons, boots, and masks to ensure self-safety.
- Assists in training and supporting of new employees.
- Attend training, safety, pre-shift, and departmental meetings as scheduled.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Entry Level Position.• High School Diploma or GED required.• Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends.• Physically able to carry 50 lbs.; able to stand, bend and move throughout shift.SKILLS/ABILITIES:• Work well and efficiently under pressure as a team or on individual tasks.• Ability to manage a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable workload.• Strong attention to details• Teamwork• Organization skillsEDUCATION:• High School diploma or GED (preferred)LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours or as required.
