Dishwasher - Riverside Health System : Job Details

The Food Services Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and inventory stock duties according to regulatory standards and Food & Nutrition policy/procedure. Ensures a neat, clean and safe work environment is maintained. Follows proper body mechanics and can demonstrate knowledge and competency in the proper use of all cleaning chemicals and supplies. What you will do. Ensures all service ware are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each meal and in a timely manner so as to prevent a delay in tray line and cafeteria service. Demonstrates knowledge and competency in the ability to properly utilize the dish machine and three-compartment sink. Competently completes the proper setup, breakdown, and cleaning of dish machine and other kitchen equipment according to Food & Nutrition Services policy/procedure. Handles service ware with care to minimize loss and damage/breakage, immediately removing any damaged service ware from service and alerting management before discarding.
