Dishwasher / Meal Prep - Greenhorn Golf Resort : Job Details

Job Title: Dishwasher/ Meal Prep Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 an hour Job Status: Part-time & Full-timeReports To: Executive Chef Prepared by: Regional Manager Job Descriptions - Dishwasher:Responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately.Dishwasher - Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate China)
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
• Cleaning of restaurant areas when necessary

Meal Prep- Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep ingredients before meal service
• Carefully prepare food according to menu specifications
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock inventory and order supplies when necessary
• Clean cooking areas thoroughly
• Maintain and store tools and equipment
• Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment and maintain a clean work area at all times
• Check pars for shift use, ensuring that correct amounts are pulled for prep and noting items that need replenishment

Qualifications:

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or on Wait Staff
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
• Knife Skills/Preparation of food A+

Physical Needs:

• Must be able to stand, lift, push and pull for 6-8 hours per day
• Able to lift 40-50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, reach and twist

Working Conditions:

• May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on service area
• Varied weather conditions are expected
• Will work near mechanical equipment and hot surfaces
• Will work with aerosol and other cleaning chemicals.

?Work Availability: Varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
