DISPATCH CUSTOMER SERVICE (Friday thru Monday 8A-5P) TYPE: Contract to Hire, Friday through Monday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (32 hours) - off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - once trained you can work more hours if offered PAY: $18 per hour YOUR DISPATCH / CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Maintain relationship with assigned truck drivers
- Assist drivers in meeting customer service expectations
- Track drivers using GPS technology
- Report on safety measures for drivers
- Resolve issues with customer service
- Detect unsafe activities and address using appropriate course of action
- Schedule training for drivers and follow up to ensure completion
- Handle routine pay questions
- Other duties as assigned by management
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE DISPATCH / CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of phone based customer service experience is required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data
- Time management and prioritization skills
