Dispatch Specialist - CRG : Job Details

Dispatch Specialist Summary: Our client, a worldwide leader in logistic solutions is currently seeking a Dispatch Specialist to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating drivers, equipment and freight while meeting customer and company requirements. Opportunity: Contract Location: Columbus, OH Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:00am-2:30pm) Compensation: $20/hr. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to appropriate location to meet customer and company requirements.
• Track and trace shipments for customers to ensure on time, accurate and satisfactory deliveries; provide updates as necessary.
• Communicate with customers, employees and the management team to endure necessary requirements are met.
• Enter data into transportation management system.
• Maintain and generate required reports; process audits and file various documentation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in supply chain/logistics operations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
