Services include supply chain management, logistics management, testing and inspection services, and packaging and kitting.Your ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryCoordinate and direct the movement of trucks and freight in order to make pickups and deliveries in an efficient and timely manner. Represent company in a positive manner by providing customers with quick, precise, helpful, courteous and professional customer service.2nd Shift Dispatcher - Wentzville MOKey Accountabilities:Record and allocate all requests for delivery and pickup within established territories among the available drivers.Consolidate freight orders into truckloads for specific destinations.Records all information for proper billing.Make assignments of drivers and trucks. Calls in extra drivers when needed to handle unexpected volume.Maintain radio and phone contact with trucks, receive and dispatch aid in response to any emergency needs for assistance or repairs.Communicate with all Drivers, customers, and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.Keep vehicle inventory with accurate records of trailers being used for off-site storage to ensure proper billing.Document, investigate and report equipment damages.Maintain metric reports as required by management and or customers.Proactively seek out backhaul loads.Complete administrative duties timely and accurately.Maintain written/computerized records and other forms of information.All other duties assigned by reporting Manager/Supervisor.Participate, support and comply with all health, safety and 6S initiatives and requirements.Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
