Job Description
Primary PurposeResponsible for assigning loads to drivers for timely delivery of feed to growers and assisting in feed scheduling. Also responsible for training drivers in procedures of loading trucks, when necessary. Communicates with other employees to efficiently load and dispatch feed. In addition to dispatching, also schedules feed deliveries to growers. Scheduling duties include, completing feed delivery and inventory records and maintaining the feed scheduling system. Responsible for compliance to all company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities Dispatching loads and setting up loads. Managing the flow of four load outs. Managing drivers' hours. Resolving driver issues. Providing customer service (out of feed, etc.). Must be able to work alternating schedule 6:00AM - 6:00PM.Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED.
- 0 - 2 years' relevant experience.
- On-the-job training.
- Working knowledge of computers with a good understanding of Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills.
