ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS:
  • Directly responsible for computerized dispatching of field trade labor via cell, text messaging, and other appropriate communication means.
  • .Directly responsible for receiving and processing of cash received in the service department per company procedures
  • .Directly responsible for checking service tickets for accuracy and that they are properly and completely filled out.
  • Directly responsible for communication effectively with customers to assure a high degree of satisfaction.5.
  • Review with Service Manager, all facets of the dispatch function; regarding effectiveness, and customer care.
  • Directly responsible for maintaining computerized customer records, as well as filing of hard copies to customer files.
  • .Directly responsible for coordinating, expediting shipping, tracking, and receiving of all parts orders according to Company purchase orders procedures for service work including quoting and ordering. As well as rescheduling with customer when parts have arrived.
  • .Directly responsible for maintaining records, and for tracking job trade labor hours and purchase materials for all categories of service work.
  • .Directly responsible for assisting the Service Manager and technicians to estimate and provide quotes for parts and minor labor based jobs
  • .Responsible for promoting the sales of Maintenance agreements and assisting with the development of new Maintenance agreement opportunities.
  • Directly responsible for maintaining refrigerant usage and recovery information per EPA requirements.
  • Directly responsible for communication effectively with technicians or other trade labor and to relay technical concerns to the Service Manager.
  • Directly responsible for providing feedback to the Service Manager regarding service dispatch trends, cost saving opportunities and customer issue
  • Directly responsible for developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of:
  • Company's service delivery procedures.
  • Customer needs, requirements, and business issues.
  • Dispatch industry trends.
  • Directly responsible for coordinating all service personnel personal leave, sick days, and after hours on-call list with Service Manager
  • Directly responsible for accessing messages from the service mailboxes daily. (Each AM.)
  • Directly responsible for the re-programming of the emergency phone call out system on a weekly basis
  • Directly responsible working closely with other departments to ensure the proper transfer of all service work business data required for payroll, billing, accounts payable, lease vehicle management, and human resource management functions.
  • Directly responsible for complying with Company standards of conduct and appearance so as to reflect positively on Company image.
  • EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Business Management , or Associate Degree or equivalent from an accredited educational institution or prior work experience in Dispatch.
