We represent the integration, acquisition, and partnership of multiple refrigerated transportation solutions and provide services for RDW and a growing number of outside customers. Our DSD services fleet provides final mile solutions with a wide variety of refrigerated equipment servicing 12 states across the central and upper Midwest. We're hiring a dependable, hard-working individual for our Dispatcher rolein Hammond, Wisconsin. This role requires someone who is highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve. Efficiently communicating with drivers to execute on-time pick-up and deliveries per customer requirements and company standards is critical. This individual needs to be able to adjust to last minute changes and work with drivers and management to schedule emergency pick-up or deliveries for new or established customers when necessary. Schedule: Must be available Saturday and Sunday, plus 3 days during the week. • 2+ years in the transportation industry
• Fleet dispatch experience with a logistical background a plus!
• Familiar with the Twin Cities and surrounding metro areas
• Knowledge of FMCSA safety regulations & HOS limitations
• Strong knowledge of semi tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize, take initiative and achieve results
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Must have a proactive approach to problem resolution, critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to prioritize driver needs.
