Dispatcher - Transdev : Job Details

Our Dispatchers are responsible for:Consistently review routes and make adjustments for efficiencyMaintain route productivity of spare useRespond to customer inquiries such as vehicle location, ETA, and ride times in a timely manner and maintain a standard call answer rateSchedule same-day changed transportation for customers, i.e. will-call serviceMonitor emails and handle as appropriateProvide excellent customer serviceRelay changes to carriers with updated manifestsSchedule all the unscheduled trips no less the one hour prior to scheduled windowsComplete all carrier transfersPerform data entry for non MDC manifests, as neededEssential job functions:Ability to proficiently operate a windows-based computer with keystroke speed of no less than 35 corrected words per minute.Ability to communicate clearly in the English language.Able to utilize a standard business telephone.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
