Dispatcher - Pridestaff : Job Details

One of our top-notch clients that has been leading the transportation industry for over three decades is looking for a Dispatcher to join their team! The Dispatcher is responsible for assisting drivers in getting to their assigned destination smoothly and safely. They will also assist with some administrative duties that involve interacting with customers. Are you good at giving directions and know the DMV well? Apply today! Compensation: $25.00/HR+ DOE Location: Sterling, VA Schedule: 1:00A-11:00A ( rotating shift) Responsibilities:

• Diligently Respond to incoming calls or request made by customers or drivers and work on them based on priority level.
• Schedule and assign routes in a manner that is most effective and cost efficient.
• Monitor and track flight schedules, location and status of drivers successfully using GPS and other effective tools for communication.
• Handle emergency calls or instances with care and urgency.
• Accurately log all activity, communication, and incidents to ensure effect report usage.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule and 12-hour shifts (overnight)
• Highly efficient communication skills
• Ability to problem solve quickly
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
• Effective time management skills
• Experience using dispatch software, GPS, and other tracking tools.
• Work well in fast pace environments
