Category Transportation DescriptionEagle Systems, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Dispatcher in the Memphis, TN market. Eagle Group has been a part of the transportation industry for more than 90 years starting with Eagle Livery in 1903 and has grown to over 24 terminals nationwide. Eagle Systems is employee-focused and understands that each of our dispatch team members are critical and invaluable to our success. Full-Time Position Available Immediately!Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Ports and Depots
  • Knowledge of FMCSA Regulations and safety rules
  • Experience working with owner operator drivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include after hours and/or on-call for weekends
  • AP/AR Experience
  • Knowledge of logs related to commercial/intermodal carriers
  • Computer skills
  • Two years (plus) experience working with import/export and load planning
Responsibilities:
  • Daily load planning and dispatching of Independent Contractors
  • Order entry and setting delivery appointments, when needed
  • Daily contact with customers and Independent Contractors
  • Safety-logs, tracking and obtaining daily/monthly required documents
  • Equipment tracking in rail systems
  • Customer billing
  • Accuracy with Driver Pay
  • Assist with customer service requests
  • Assist with driver needs
  • Assist with other office duties as needed
