- Knowledge of Ports and Depots
- Knowledge of FMCSA Regulations and safety rules
- Experience working with owner operator drivers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours to include after hours and/or on-call for weekends
- AP/AR Experience
- Knowledge of logs related to commercial/intermodal carriers
- Computer skills
- Two years (plus) experience working with import/export and load planning
Responsibilities:
- Daily load planning and dispatching of Independent Contractors
- Order entry and setting delivery appointments, when needed
- Daily contact with customers and Independent Contractors
- Safety-logs, tracking and obtaining daily/monthly required documents
- Equipment tracking in rail systems
- Customer billing
- Accuracy with Driver Pay
- Assist with customer service requests
- Assist with driver needs
- Assist with other office duties as needed
