This position is open to all NYCT Assistant Train Dispatchers, Train Dispatchers, and Yard Dispatchers.
Compensation

Responsibilities
The Department of Subways, Service Delivery Crew Assignment Section is seeking highly motivated Supervisors to work in the Crew Assignment Section as Crew Dispatchers. To meet daily and emergency train service requirements, Crew Dispatchers will arrange vacancy coverage for Conductors, Train Operators, Towers Operators and Supervisors in accordance with applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements and pick procedures. In addition, Crew Dispatchers will be responsible for daily, vacation relief, and other contractually allotted lost time coverage for all Service Delivery hourly and supervisory employees. This position is also responsible for maintaining proper assignments, calling personnel for duty, and posting related records where required; in addition, they will perform daily data entry in UTS (Unified Timekeeping System).
This position requires the candidate(s) to work weekends, holidays, and various tours.
Education and Experience
At time of appointment, candidates must have a satisfactory operating and attendance record.

All appointments, with the exception of Department of Subways' employees on MaBSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
