Seeking several employees for a NYC dispensary including retail assistants (budtenders), team leads, and managers. Various shifts available. Must have flexibility and be able to work weekends based on the schedule. Hours of operations: Sunday to Saturday 9:00 am to 1:30 am. These are long term temporary positions with the possibility of going perm.Job Summary: employees will be required to assist customers from start to finish of sale. They will be required to help with selection of product, weighing it, packaging, and processing payment. Job Duties:•Interacting with customers in a warm and professional way•Answering people's questions on different strains, ways to consume cannabis, and tools (e.g., pipe, vaporizer)•Verifying customers is 21 years of age on legal identification card •Ensuring the floor is stocked and maintaining awareness of the inventory•Maintaining knowledge consistent with the current research on which products may help specific ailments (e.g., chronic pain, anxiety)•Keeping the dispensary website up to date with the latest products•Ensuring you are aware of current cannabis-related legal restrictions•Weighing, packaging, and distributing productQualifications:
- Prior experience in a dispensary or similar retail establishment
- Completion of a cannabis training program
- Familiarity with cannabis terms for use and tools
- Up to date knowledge of different products and brands
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customers in line with the company's privacy policy
Manager qualifications:To qualify for a manager position, you need a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, several years of experience in sales as a sales representative, strong communication skills, proven ability to meet sales targets, leadership qualities, analytical skills, and proficiency in POS systems to track sales and manage inventory.Team leader qualifications:Two years experience in sales. GED / High School Diploma. Knowledge about cannabis products. Experience using POS systems. Strong organizational skills. Confidence in their team. Respectfulness towards others.
