• Develop and execute the company's distribution and logistics strategy to support business goals.
• Identify and implement industry best practices to improve supply chain performance.
• Lead initiatives to optimize logistics costs while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Distribution Management

• Oversee the management of distribution centers, ensuring efficiency and compliance with operational standards.
• Monitor and enhance inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and on-time delivery performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support demand planning and inventory management strategies.

Logistics Operations

• Manage all aspects of transportation, including carrier selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
• Optimize inbound and outbound freight flows to minimize costs and transit times.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing team of logistics and distribution professionals.
• Provide mentorship and training to develop team members' skills and career growth.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Data and Performance Analytics

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve distribution and logistics efficiency.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.

Risk Management

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including disruptions and compliance issues.
• Implement contingency plans to ensure continuity in the face of unforeseen challenges.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and complex logistics operations.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of domestic and international logistics, including customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
