Job DescriptionStrategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's distribution and logistics strategy to support business goals.
- Identify and implement industry best practices to improve supply chain performance.
- Lead initiatives to optimize logistics costs while maintaining service quality and compliance.
Distribution Management
- Oversee the management of distribution centers, ensuring efficiency and compliance with operational standards.
- Monitor and enhance inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and on-time delivery performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support demand planning and inventory management strategies.
Logistics Operations
- Manage all aspects of transportation, including carrier selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
- Optimize inbound and outbound freight flows to minimize costs and transit times.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing team of logistics and distribution professionals.
- Provide mentorship and training to develop team members' skills and career growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Data and Performance Analytics
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve distribution and logistics efficiency.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Risk Management
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including disruptions and compliance issues.
- Implement contingency plans to ensure continuity in the face of unforeseen challenges.

The Successful Applicant- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and complex logistics operations.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of domestic and international logistics, including customs and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
