Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Oversees and supports the operations of the Versailles warehouses, managing all incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse utilizing the Oracle ERP system. Works closely with the warehouse, operations, corporate logistics, customer service, customers, quality, marketing, and sales to ensure timely and efficient shipment of orders to meet customer's expectations and regulatory compliance. Performs work under minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Collaborates with cross functional departments to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance
- Ensures efficient execution of warehouse activities on a daily basis. Prepares orders for the warehouse teammates, creates shipping documentation including bill of lading, packing list, and international documentation for all outbound shipments, and receives inbound product to the warehouse
- Coordinates and optimizes product movement through the warehouse to minimize touchpoints and ensure first-time pass when the warehouse pulls orders for shipment
- Assists logistics leadership to problem solve issues and process improvement
- Communicates all information to carriers to ensure timely pick-ups and prevent delays to customers
- Analyzes shipment details to verify freight policies are being followed appropriately. Quotes and assigns carriers for shipment when needed
- Verifies regulatory data accuracy and serves as the final quality check while entering information into the ERP
SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Leads the year end physical inventory for the warehouse and/or parcel shipping within Versailles
- Supports the parcel shipping team and other locations as needed
- May provide coaching, mentoring, and training to new coordinators and/or shipping team leaders
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree in business or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:
- Ability to work in high pace environment
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Knowledge of ERP software, Oracle preferred
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Problem solving skills
