A Distribution Dispatcher Associate is needed for a world class utility company in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This role involves ensuring the safe, reliable operation and restoration of the company's distribution system by dispatching personnel, tracking system activity, maintaining accurate records, and making critical decisions during emergencies and outages.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe and reliable operation of the company's distribution system.

• Dispatch service personnel to respond to outages and emergency situations.

• Promote and enforce the company's Safety and Health programs.

• Adhere to written company and departmental policies and procedures.

• Operate company communication equipment effectively.

• Maintain accurate outage records.

• Work under pressure during critical system conditions.

• Make critical decisions affecting reliability and priority of service to customers.

• Ensure instructions prioritize personnel safety, public welfare, and equipment integrity.

Education:

• Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology.

• Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience.
