With over 1,000 associates, we are big enough to perform, but small enough to care!Mesa seeks Distribution Field Technician - Data Collector.This is a remote position. Must have the ability to sit/stand/walk for extend periods of time while working in the field. Occasional overnight field trips to field sites for data collection of poles. Knowledge of Transmission/Distribution equipment (transformers, conductors, switches, communication cables, etc.) is great but not a requirement.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Possess working knowledge of computers and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and possess the willingness to learn software used for specific technical applications within the department e.g., Katapult Pro.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Willing to contribute and adhere to the safety requirements of the working environment.
- Collect images/pictures necessary for engineering design, surveying, and permitting activities.
- Work with project personnel to resolve internal and external customer issues which may be critical, sensitive, complex, or urgent.
- Available to work overtime as necessary to meet project schedules and commitments.
- Available to travel out of town for project meetings and site visits.
