Located in Poplar Bluff, MO you will be the Distribution Center Manager. Overall accountability for achieving production, profitability, and safety goals, and overseeing cost reduction programs. Ensure Gates remains a leader in the industry in terms of having world class distribution operations and customer service by establishing and maintaining a culture of high performance and associate engagement. Responsible for all aspects of planning, organizing, and directing of all operational activities Key responsibilities: Leadership - Effectively manages all site and front line managers to ensure proper staffing levels, financial compliance, distribution metric tracking, productivity data management, and Associate communication and engagement. Utilizes 5 S strategies to maintain effective housekeeping, along with proper implementation and utilization of Six Sigma principles/processes to drive a culture of continuous improvement as outlined by the business plan.
