• Oversee day-to-day distribution activities, including fulfilling orders, managing inventory transfers, and maintaining equipment.
• Lead and inspire a team across various shifts, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Resolve driver-related issues, such as vehicle maintenance and scheduling, to ensure smooth operations.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and cut costs.
• Manage a fleet of trucks, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and asset maintenance.
• Lead the implementation and effective use of ERP systems to boost operational productivity.
• Analyze costs and service discrepancies, implementing solutions to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize delivery schedules and inventory management.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Enhance warehouse layout and cleanliness to improve operational efficiency and safety.
• Regularly report to leadership on performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in financial planning and monitor budgetary performance to meet profit goals.
• Implement security measures to protect products, materials, and equipment.

Your Qualifications

• At least 7 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment with direct delivery operations.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams in a dynamic setting.
• Experience managing a fleet and knowledge of transportation regulations is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
• Successful history of ERP system implementation and process improvement leadership.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities across various shifts and locations.
• Adaptable and capable of leading through periods of change and growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Epicor P21 is advantageous.
