WHERE YOU WILL WORK Our ClosetMaid facility is in Ocala, FL. It is a 600,000 sq. ft. manufacturing distribution and office facility. SCHEDULEFirst Shift 6:00AM - 2:30PM; Monday to Friday, overtime when needed.WHAT YOU WILL DO Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Conveys materials and items from racks to storage or to other designated areas. Assembles customer orders from stock, sorts, and places materials or items on pallets according to shipping order. Marks materials with identifying labels. Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled using bin locators or floor locations for inventory accuracy. Identify and compare products by number code. Loads and unloads materials onto or and from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit Responsible for ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks. Potential to operate sit-down and stand-up forklift, upon completion of on-the job training for this equipment.Use computer station with scanning equipment, training will be provided.Operates electric pallet jack, upon completion of on-the-job training and powered equipment certification.REQUIREMENTS0-3 years of related work experienceAbility to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates. Must pass powered equipment skills test, upon completion of onsite trainingMust have a good safety record Preferred:High school diploma or GED Order Picker and/or Forklift operation experience.Distribution or logistics experiencePHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENT DEMANDSPhysical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders); bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
