Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: This is a full-time internship that requires five days on-site at the Dawn Foods Louisville Distribution Center.Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.

- Must be pursuing a Supply Chain/Logistics or Business bachelor's degree and completed sophomore year with an interest in Logistics.
- Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
- Strong interest in the logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
- Experience with Microsoft excel and basic functions such as pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

- Identified projects that you will be responsible for:
- Interview stakeholders to understand warehouse and delivery operational processes, allowing for the performance and execution of learned insights.
- Evaluate preferred work methods for receiving, put-away, selection, loading and delivery and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to achieving higher quality results through collaboration with warehouse, delivery, and inventory control teams.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Dawn's product life cycle beginning at the Dawn manufacturing plant through customer delivery.
- Participate in and understand material variance procedures (damages, cycle counts and expired product).
- Understand the complexities and intricacies of Dawn's Outbound operations, including an international export business.
