Under general supervision, provides working level professional support in one or more of the following areas: OMAT, maintenance, construction, intermodal, planning, utilities, surveying, environmental or traffic. JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: Under general supervision, schedule, coordinate and inspect permitted construction of commercial and residential driveways and public utilities on the state highway right-of-way in an urbanized area where a large proportion of the permits involve a high level of engineering complexity. Supervise utility force account contract work. Enforce the rules and regulations for control and protection of state highway right-of-way in an assigned area. Insure that all traffic operations guidelines are met. Maintain and document an accurate record of permit and right-of-way activities.
