Ensure complete training and development of all Team Leaders2. Ensure development of an Assistant Team Leader in required stores3. Communicate and delegate work in an appropriate manner4. Hold Team Leaders accountable for their performance and actions6. Provide accurate, timely Team Leader evaluations and feedback7. Help Team Leaders establish meaningful goals9. Accurately and consistently document Team Leader's performance10. Send Team Leaders to training programs as scheduled11. Ensure monthly store meetings are held in each store12. Assist Team Leader with new hires by conducting the 2nd interview13. Do drug screening on all new hires and random drug screening in stores14. Constantly motivate and reward good performance in the storesResponsibilities in Loss Prevention and Control Factors:1. Review inventory counts weekly and resolve variances immediately (Weekly counts -beer, soft drink, sandwiches. Daily - cigarettes, others as needed)2. Review the Inventory Shortage Action Plan as needed3. Review and evaluate store tracking charts weekly4. Conduct monthly unannounced cash audits at each store5. Ensure stock areas and Team Leaders office are maintained in a neat manner6. Discuss control issues with each Team Leader weekly7. Address security issues immediatelyResponsibilities in Completion of Reports and Paperwork:1. Ensure all paperwork is completed on time (daily and other)2. Investigate late deposits daily3. Serve as a liaison between the SupportCenter and store personnel4. Ensure maintenance of all paperwork in an organized and secure manner5. Address paperwork issues with Team Leaders immediately6. Complete the monthly store checklist on timeResponsibilities in General Store Operation:1. Personally visit each store in the assigned District2. Verify and encourage an adequate and appropriate staff is employed3. Ensure adherence to contract agreements4. Evaluate inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations5. Complete assignments as directed by Region LeaderResponsibilities to Image:1. Inspect store image standards each week2. Ensure compliance of all managers to the company uniform policy3. Present self in a neat, clean, professional manner4. See that Team Leaders present themselves in a professional mannerResponsibilities to Sales:1. Verify pricing policies and process2. Achieve sales goals3. Be familiar with competition pricing (gas and retail)Responsibilities to Service:1. Promote the practice of Greet-Smile-Thank 2. Promote proper use of Empowerment Vouchers by Team Leaders3. Resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner4. Interact with customers each dayResponsibilities to Profitability:1. Operate the area in as profitable a manner as possible2. Maximize controllable profit margins for the area3. Control expenses4. Set and operate within all budget limits5. Work diligently to maintain low levels of Team Leader turnover6. Review P&L statements monthly with each Team LeaderResponsibilities to Goal Setting:1. Set goals for improved area operation on a regular basis2. Sets realistic, challenging, measurable goals3. Achieve personal goals or learn from the attempted goal process4. Follow up on goals for self and personnel to ensure progressResponsibilities in Inspection:1. Conduct a monthly store image inspection form for each store2. Conduct monthly merchandising inspections for each store3. Submit a copy of each inspection to Region Leader when completedRequirementsWhat We're Looking For...
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5-7 years of operational leadership experience, emphasis on Food Service preferred
- Friendly & Outgoing
