The DDHW is the clinical leader who drives positive resident health outcomes in a division of Branches within Bickfords portfolio. This position works closely with the Divisional Director of Operations and Branch leaders to ensure excellent resident care, engagement, optimal sales results, and financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Branch clinical leaders to ensure the principles of assisted living and Bickfords culture are integrated into all aspects of resident care.
  • Provides on-call support to clinical leaders to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Works with operations and clinical leaders within the branches to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with residents/families to enhance their engagement.
  • Oversees and manages the process and employees who administer resident. medications ensuring medications are delivered to residents in accordance with their physicians orders.
  • Teaches and trains incoming clinical leaders to ensure that they are on-boarded in a way the promotes optimal clinical results.
  • Manages partnerships with local vendors to ensure quality external care providers are servicing the residents within the branch.

Qualifications:

  • RN license.
  • Proven reputation for management and leadership excellence with multi-site management and healthcare experience.
  • Proven ability to build relationships within the community.
  • Senior Living experience along with knowledge of state-specific assisted living regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a proficient clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication.
  • A valid drivers license and a driving record consistent with Bickfords insurance carrier guidelines.
