JOB SUMMARY: The Divisional Safety Trainer will be responsible for compliance related certification and training as required by Lewis Tree Service, Customers as well as State and Federal law. On an ongoing basis - comply with all safety procedures and policies. These practices will be modeled and reinforced with craftworkers.The Safety Trainer will be responsible for identifying and administering supplemental training as needed when identified through crew/team observations.The Safety Trainer will be responsible for compliance related certification and training as required by Lewis Tree Service, utilities as well as State and Federal law. This includes and is not limited to:First Aid and CPR certificationRoping and Rigging Training Certification, Recertification and EvaluationsTechnical Skills and Knowledge Certification/TestingDriver certificationAdditional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Weekly activity related to After Action Reviews to be utilized as learning tools for leadership and craft workers.Participate in at least one Learning team on a quarterly basis.Support additional training initiatives related to safety and human performance as identified by operational leadership.Perform other duties as assigned.What You'll Need...3-5 Years Line Clearance ExperienceHigh School Diploma or the equivalentCertified Tree Care Safety Professional credential - Must have or obtain as well as maintain credentialsValid Driver's License as requiredMust have or obtain ISA CertificationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively train new and experienced employees.The position requires regular travel including overnights by ground and/or air transportation.TECHNOLOGY, EQUIPMENT & TOOLS:Proficient with standard office equipment i.e., computer, phones, scanner, fax, and copier.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Smart phone and tablet knowledge.Experience with digital cameras and projectors.#J-18808-Ljbffr
