2nd Shift Warehouse Workers PM start times (THIS IS AN ON-SITE SWING SHIFT DOCK WORKER POSITION)

Prior Forklift Experience Helpful

We are seeking candidates for the 2nd shift Warehouse Associates (Los Angeles/Santa Fe Springs)

Compensation: $19.00 per hour to start

Hours & Schedule: 6pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday, weekends off Overtime allowed if approved

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.

* Load and unload trailers

* Perform re-weighs for each shift

* Perform daily freight inspections and inspections of lift truck and other equipment

* Inspects trailers for suitability before loading

* Perform basic housekeeping

* Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed

* Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Knowledge of basic dock procedure

* Forklift experience in a dock setting

* Ability to identify, and report on recurring problems/safety issues

* 1-2 years of forklift experience

* Forklift certification is wanted but not required
