There are 3 open PhD positions at CARL@UNH () for an NSF project on safe imitation learning. Please contact with a resume and a sample publication ONLY IF you have the following:

  • A master's/bachelor's degree in Robotics/a related field OR strong experience of working with ROS and physical robots
  • Have background on any of these topics: Imitation learning for robots, Safe imitation learning, Optimal control and HJB equation, Control barrier function, Data-driven control for robot manipulators, Hamilton-Jacobi Isaac reachability analysis for robot control, Model-predictive control in imitating learning, Invariant set synthesis for safe robot control
