Job Details:Scheduled hours: Day shift, M-F
Job Description:Responsible for improving overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation. Facilitates modifications to documentation through extensive interactions with physicians and clinical staff to ensure thoroughness and appropriateness of documentation. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and medical center outcomes. Educates all members of the patient care team on an ongoing basis regarding clinical documentation.
Qualifications:Required: Associate Degree in nursing (ADN) required5 years clinical experience in a hospital setting
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in related field, preferredClinical Documentation Improvement experience preferredCase management/utilization review experience preferredProficiency in computer data and analysis systems preferredMicrosoft Office product experience preferred
