Job Title: Engineering Visualization & Documentation Specialist 1Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Engineering Visualization & Documentation Specialist who will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a experience in graphic design, engineering, or technical communication, and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks. This role involves using Dassault Systmes' Composer and Visualize software to create instruction manuals and marketing materials from CAD models. The position is open to candidates with an associate's degree plus relevant experience or a bachelor's degree.Responsibilities
  • Create Marketing Renderings per established templates
  • Create renderings for E-parts store
  • Create renderings from established product models
  • Create product support bulletins for external customers
  • Maintain organizational structure of documentation
  • Complete renderings in appropriate timing
  • Maintain a reasonable completion rate to manage backlog at an acceptable level
  • Manage and present backlog and completion status in an easy-to-understand format
  • Communicate with other departments to drive projects to completion
  • Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as required
Essential Skills
  • Experience with Graphic Design Tools/Software
  • Strong Communication & Writing Skills
  • Understanding of parts on a truck/hardware (e.g., Cab, Bolt, Flange)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • CSWA, CSWP, Sheetmetal and drawing tools certifications
  • AAS with at least 5 years of related experience or BSME with at least 2 years of experience
  • SolidWorks Composer certification
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with other departments to create detailed documents
  • Proven technical writing and organizational skills
Work EnvironmentThe role primarily involves maintaining and updating existing technical documentation rather than creating new content from scratch. The position is preferred to be on-site, but remote work options are available if needed. Training on specific software and processes will be provided for the successful candidate. The work environment is collaborative, requiring communication with multiple departments to complete projects.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $78000.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
