Company ProfileSan Antonio Shoemakers (SAS), a San Antonio, Texas based company, has been in business for over 40 years and has developed a reputation as a premier American manufacturer of high quality comfort footwear.PositionSAS has an opening for a Receiving/Shipping Clerk.Job ResponsibilitiesReceive finish goods with a tablet & scannerOperating material handling equipmentOperate Conveyor and scanner system used by Odyssey to read and verify unitSort & verify shipments match delivery order requirementsPicking orders and delivering product to picking locationAble to maintain and account for inventory of incoming productStocking and building of pallets through Odyssey program.Research & resolve issues Odyssey & VIMTrack inspection requests using WAWF systemCommunicate with DCMA & Odyssey support as neededComplete understanding of all DLA requirements for military shipmentsAll other duties as assigned pertaining to the DCJob QualificationsOperating Electric Pallet JackOperate Tablet and scanner with trainingSimple mathAble to prioritize and multi-task.Knowledge of D365 or able to learn with trainingAttention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.Knowledge of Odyssey and VIM or able to learn with training.Self-starter that desires to take initiative.Ability to work well with a team or autonomously.Enjoys a fast-paced environment.Good attendance record.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 50 lbs on regular basis..Must be able to stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours.Ability to climb stairs as required.Reach, stoop, and pull items 50 lbs above shoulder.Must be able to work over time if required.Education & Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GEDGood computer skills preferredI have read and understand the duties, responsibilities and qualifications of this position and acknowledge that I can perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation.SAS is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
