Domestic Logistics Analyst - WEG Electric : Job Details

About the role: WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role is responsible for monitoring/communicating international shipment status from the time it ships until final delivery and supporting the International Trade Compliance function. Primary Responsibilities: Negotiate carrier rates for various transportation modes, focusing on cost effectiveness and customer priorities. Provide solutions for transportation issues and communicate as necessary with the sales team, customer services reps and supply chain analysts. Provide support to the international trade compliance function. Assist project coordinators with special freight requirements and external warehousing needs. Troubleshoot issues that arise in the deliveries of project freight. Provide proper drop ship documentation to supply chain analysts/project coordinators to ensure timely and accurate billing of delivered goods.
