DOR2 - BEAE - Seasonal Dispatch - Bear Express LLC : Job Details

ONLY INTERNAL APPLICANTS to BEAR EXPRESS LLC will be considered. It does not matter which location you are applying from. This position will report to DOR1 at 1920 Campostella Rd Chesapeake VA every day.

As a seasonal Dispatcher you will be assisting and/or filling in for our current dispatchers. You will receive a seasonal wage increase whether you are driving or dispatching that day, and you will be learning valuable skills! The Seasonal position will last 90 days. This position's timeline may be adjusted due to Amazon timelines, but the goal is for a start date in the beginning of June.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Delivering for 90 days

- No Attendance issues

- No Final Written Warnings or Tier Infractions from Amazon (ask Brennen or Haileigh if you are unsure)

EXPECTATIONS:

- Schedule 11:15 to 10:30 PM, Wednesday to Friday.

- Set up equipment, supplies and roster

- Be available to stay until last driver turns in equipment and reset (charge) equipment

- Monitor Inventory levels and serviceability

- Train new Drivers

- Drive Delivery Routes

- Complete Vehicle Inspections and Vehicle Audits.

- Handle Package Exceptions and Escalations

- Monitor and enforce safety standards

- Communicate effectively with Amazon, other Dispatchers and Managers

- Keep Supplies, Vans, and company areas clean and organized.
