Drafting Clerk - Staffmark Group : Job Details

Staffmark has joined forces with a leading medical manufacturing company, seeking a skilled Drafting Clerk for a unique role in Woodstock, CT. Join our dynamic team and contribute to over 80 years of industry-leading innovation across diverse markets.

Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr.

Requirements: One year of experience with CAD, associate's degree in engineering field preferred; we are open to someone with a strong clerical/administrative background in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Engineering Clerk to execute Engineering Changes (ECN) related to product models, drawings, and materials/operations.

* Create and modify manufacturing drawings and product models using 3D engineering software.

* Ensure design drawings meet specifications.

* Process REA packages and write ECNs for production drawing changes or to write IPDs for in process deviations.

* Create or modify models and drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks).

* Check in / out and change state of models and drawings in the PDM vault.

* Process CSR packages for new production designs.

* Create or modify labels / nameplates using label software (EasyLabel, BarTender).
