Dragline Oiler 6pm - 6am - Vulcan Materials Company : Job Details

Promote Safety. . Repair and Maintain Heavy Equipment. Assist coworkers with performing minor repairs on mobile and fixed equipment, including replacing or repairing defective parts using hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment. Inspect Equipment. Review pre-shift and post-shift inspection reports, lubrication reports, and service records of dragline to ensure safety and performance. Inspect the wear, alignment, and function of the crane for any defective parts or equipment. Perform General Physical Activities. Perform a variety of tasks assisting with the operation and housekeeping of the plant, including cleaning, washing, shoveling, and using hand tools. Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Skills You'll Need: Experience. Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred. Knowledge of Best Practices.
