Job Description

Select's Drilling Engineer plans, designs and manages projects.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

* Undertakes technical and feasibility studies.

* Collaborates with other professionals and discusses requirements with clients.

* Uses computer programs to develop detailed designs.

* Ensures that constructions meet legal guidelines and safety and environment requirements.

* Oil and gas/ industrial experience (or related experience).

* Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle in accordance to Select's policies.

* Oil and gas operations beneficial.

Physical Demands and Exposures

* Requires a high degree of concentration in a busy area.

* Must be willing to travel to remote locations and spend considerable time at field locations as required.

* Position works inside a climate-controlled environment a majority of the time.

* Traditional Monday through Friday, 8 - 5 pm, unless operational tempo and requirements dictate otherwise.

* Ability to individually lift: Maximum 25 lbs.
