Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our community.General Summary: Peachtree Hills Place, a premier life plan community, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for our members to various activities, including medical appointments, shopping, events, and other outings. The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring our members comfort, safety, and satisfaction during transit.Essential Job Duties:• Safely transport members to and from scheduled destinations, includingmedical appointments, shopping centers, and community events.• Ensure vehicles are in good working condition by conducting regularinspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.• Assist members with boarding and exiting the vehicle, providing specialassistance to those with mobility aids or other special needs.• Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor at all times.• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure thesafety of passengers and others on the road.• Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, trip logs, transportation requests,and other relevant documentation.• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles, including regular cleaningand disinfecting.• Coordinate transportation schedules with other staff members to meet theneeds of the community.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent.• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.• Previous experience driving a passenger vehicle, shuttle bus, or similar vehicleis preferred.• Excellent communication and customer service skills.• Ability to handle and assist members with special needs, including those withmobility aids.• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection.• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, holidays, asneeded.Working Conditions:• Environment: Work is primarily conducted in a vehicle with exposure to roadconditions and varying weather.• Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods, drive longdistances, and assist members with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Mayinvolve lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds.• Hours: Schedules may vary based on transportation needs and communityevents.
