Our innovative solutions, skilled workforce, and exceptional service are the key drivers of success on projects. We are a seeking a Driver /Shop Coordinator for our Eau Claire, WI location. Qualified applicants will have the required credentials and training as required by the State Department of Transportation, a care for safety, and the ability to work independently while performing the duties listed below.General Requirements
  • Valid CDL obtained from approved Department of Transportation program.
  • Minimum 4 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
  • Experience with delivery and logistics within construction or related field.
  • Potential daily travel required with occasional overnight.
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.
  • Can demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills and ability to take direction and follow through with daily project plan.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment and safety requirements on a commercial construction site.
  • Proper safety gear/PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Boots, etc.) required when on construction sites.
  • General knowledge and ability to repair miscellaneous small tools.
  • Completion of employment application, background check, and drug screening are required.
  • Efficiency and time management.
Mechanical Technician/CDL Driver/Shop Coordinator Duties:
  • Drive Stone Pro trucks including tractor and trailer, pull various trailers, and operate equipment such as construction forklifts or skid-loaders as necessary on site (while loading or unloading).
  • Coordinate deliveries and pick-up of materials, equipment, scaffold, and misc. tools as required for each project.
  • Safely & properly load and unload equipment and materials.
  • Secure load as required to ensure efficient mobilization of equipment and materials for jobs.
  • Maintain and adhere to Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Perform or coordinate preventative maintenance on equipment during deliveries as required.
  • Move equipment, materials, and miscellaneous tools between project sites as required.
  • Travel to Minneapolis, MN region and back regularly.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain Eau Claire Shop when not hauling.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment when not hauling.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and equipment, various materials, scaffold, and tools at Eau Claire Shop.
  • Maintain a log of all maintenance and repairs to equipment and tools and provide reports.
  • Order parts and schedule repairs as necessary for tools and equipment.
  • Safely operate different trucks, trailers, forklifts, etc.
  • Transport equipment while efficiently following a schedule.
  • Knowledge of various trucks, trailers, and equipment and their operations.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Ability to handle physical workload and efficiently work independently.
  • Work closely with the Shop Foreman to mobilize equipment efficiently, coordinating the most effective routes for pick up and drop off.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
