We seek those who desire to perform at high levels on an individual and team basis.About The Role:The Drywall Finisher will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall installations, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to create smooth and polished surfaces. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and proficiency with various finishing tools and techniques.As a Drywall FInisher at Milender White, you will:* Apply drywall compound to joints, nail and screw indents, and any existing cracks or holes* Securely tape the joints between boards to ensure an even surface* Sand all applied materials to a smooth finish, suitable for painting or covering* Inspect and touch up minor defects prior to final inspection* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning* Follow safety standards to prevent job-site accidents* Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents* Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation* Perform overhead work and work from benches, scaffolds, and ladders* Load and unload supplies, ensuring project sites are tidy and cleanQualifications/ Experience:* At least 2 years of experience in drywall finishing* Ability to read and follow blueprints and instructions* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other finishing equipment* Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship* Knowledge of drywall materials, techniques, and safety regulations* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamCompensation and Benefits:* Salary: $28-$32 per hour based on experience* 100% Employer-paid health and vision insurance* 100% Employee-owned Company* Additional investment & equity opportunities available for all employees* Dental insurance* 401(k) employer match upon elegibility* Professional and career development opportunitiesIf this sounds like you, then Milender White may be the right fit.
