We seek those who desire to perform at high levels on an individual and team basis.About The Role:The Drywall Hanger will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing drywall panels to create smooth and durable wall surfaces. Key duties include ensuring precise alignment, securing panels, and finishing joints to meet high-quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates must be physically fit, capable of lifting heavy materials, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.As a Drywall Hanger at Milender White, you will:* Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to fit specific dimensions and layouts.* Securely fasten drywall panels to studs or framing using screws or nails with a power drill, ensuring proper alignment and level* Ensure precise alignment and secure panels to wall studs or ceiling joists* Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine material requirements and installation procedures* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols* Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper installation around fixtures and utilities* Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in drywall installationQualifications/ Experience:* 3+ years of experience in drywall installation, particularly in commercial construction settings* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for drywall installation* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Knowledge of drywall materials, building codes, and safety regulations* Physically fit to perform job duties, including lifting heavy materials (over 50 pounds), frequent use of hands, arms, legs, and whole body* Ability to work in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet environmentsCompensation and Benefits:* Salary: $25-$32 per hour based on experience* 100% Employer-paid health and vision insurance* 100% Employee-owned Company* Dental insurance* 401(k) employer match upon elegibility* Professional and career development opportunitiesIf this sounds like you, then Milender White may be the right fit.
